Digital in dailylife

Technologies change the way we live as to be concerned of education and interpersonal relationship.

Nowadays, people emphasized on the Ranking system in Hong Kong. Consequently, the public exam were important to students for future career or further  study. This traditional learning model in mainstream education was described as "spoon-fed". Result in E-learning is suggested which is the use of electronic educational technology in learning and teaching.

I prefer E-learning more because there are many benefits of E-learning. Firstly, the portability is relatively high. Students can take the technology to different sites and move around within a location.
Secondly, it can improve the instructor model of education. Students have more interaction rather than just listen. Certainly, E-learning is more effective than the traditional learning model.

For instance, e-books are portable with mobile devices and students can read e-books at anytime and anywhere. Also, they take up less space than the traditional printed books. If the weight of books is too heavy, it will hurt children’s backbone. Thus, e-books are not only good for students’ health, but also environmental friendly.

However, the cost is higher than traditional publishing. In these day and age, it is quite common for young people to own mobile devices such as iPad, tablets or notebooks but it still not for all people and schools.

Another aspect, technologies are not totally good for our interpersonal relationship, especially family relationship. Although Skype and facebook can help family to communicate effectively with each other regardless of their distance apart, young people rarely do this. Because they prefer to chat with friends more. Another reason is not very common for parents to use Skype or facebook. Also, technologies may decrease the communication opportunity of young people and their family.

For example, children are easily addicted to video games because they cannot distinguish between reality and fiction. Therefore, the communication between family and them decrease for such. Friends are also. Therefore, children can use computers but not for too long.
